New Construction Commissioning

Commissioning for new construction is a systematic process that documents each phase: design, installation and occupancy. It includes a thorough review of the design documents, including the Owner’s Project Requirements (OPRs), followed by onsite presence during installation, functional testing of operating systems and training of the owner’s personnel.

Existing Building Commissioning

Over time, building performance degrades due to operational and occupancy changes. Existing building commissioning involves investigating, analyzing and optimizing building system performance through operational and maintenance improvement measures.

Energy audits (Levels I, II and III) are included.

Cleanroom/Architectural Installation Procedures and Protocol

FST ensures that cleanroom/architectural scope, including tool pedestals, raised metal floors, ceiling and fire protection systems, walls and doors are installed and tested to manufacturer and client specifications.

FST QA representatives advise trade contractors on issues including, but not limited to, material delivery, handling, storage, safety, protocol and housekeeping that may impact installation and turnover quality. This includes verifying the field conditions and layout versus the Issued for construction drawings for constructability.
