Equipment Services

FST delivers efficient and cost-effective solutions that meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards for process tool maintenance, repair, and installations.

Ultra-High Purity (UHP) Installation Procedures and Protocol

FST ensures that Ultra-High Purity (UHP) equipment is installed and validated in accordance with manufacturer-recommended protocols. They certify UHP gas and liquid delivery system installations to meet stringent safety and purity standards. Also, FST can commission gas systems for bulk processes, Ultrapure Water (UPW) and Deionized Water (DI) systems, ensuring compliance with industry-specific requirements and performance criteria.

Nondestructive Examination (NDE) and nondestructive testing (NDT)

Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) are critical components of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process. They are essential for evaluating components, materials, and systems in accordance with specifications set by certifying bodies like ISO and regulatory organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Additionally, NDE and NDT procedures are tailored to meet customer-specific requirements.

Weld Inspection

FST utilizes SNT-TC-1A certified personnel to conduct visual testing (VT), dye penetrant (PT), and magnetic particle (MT) testing, adhering to acceptance criteria established by ASME, the American Welding Society (AWS), and other industry standards. Additionally, FST offers services such as procedure writing, qualifications, weld mapping, and maintaining a comprehensive weld material library.

Weld Procedure Qualification

FST offers on-site third-party welder qualification services, culminating in the issuance of Procedure Qualification Records (PQR). By defining and strictly adhering to a rigorous procedure and qualification process, FST ensures repeatability and high quality for critical systems.

Welder Qualification for Initial Certification or Renewal

A welder’s qualification involves predefined tests to assess and document a welder’s ability to produce welds of acceptable quality. The test coupons produced are examined using nondestructive and destructive methods. Depending on product requirements, FST can ensure the qualification exam complies with standards set by the American Welding Society (AWS) or American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) standards or specific manufacturer’s requirements.

Testing Procedures and Methodologies

FST offers comprehensive ‘Testing Procedures and Methodologies’ training programs. These programs cover a range of topics, including gas law theory, leak testing theory, trace gas testing, particle testing, establishing test acceptance criteria, certification testing, bulk process gases, and trace impurity analysis (THC, GC/DID, APIMS).

American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) SNT-TC-1A

FST offers training and testing under ASNT-TC-1A for technicians in the following methods: visual testing, magnetic flux leakage, dye penetrant, magnetic particle and leak testing.

Commissioning

FST’s commissioning services encompass all types of facilities and installations, including mission-critical operating environments, as well as both new and existing buildings. By collaborating with owners and contractors, we ensure that construction adheres to regulations and establishes a robust foundation that meets stringent industry and internal standards.
